Branding and launch
WSI Group are specialists in painting, applying protective coatings and being particularly creative in the use of paint colours, material finishes, special effects paints and surface textures. As experts in spray painting they can paint virtually anything, in any colour with any finish through their growing network of local approved Paint Centres, or via their onsite capability.
The Project
As a new business, WSI came to Livewire for a full brand development that included the creation of a unique visual identity that reflected their capability and ethos. They work with both B2C and B2B customers so the brand and communications had to appeal to both markets effectively.
The client wanted the logo to feature a broad spectrum of colours to underpin their work. The logo design also had to be flexible in its application so it could be utilised across the Group's various divisions as they grew.
Following audience and user research we proposed a number of creative solutions to the client that met both their needs and that would resonate with their audience.
We utilised graduated colour across all of the proposed designs to present a friendly but professional tone and each design was subtly different in its composition through varying use of geometric lines and organic, abstract flowing shapes.
The final result yielded a significantly positive result for the client and was received very well by the target audience.
